Product Details
The Whirlpool 4396710 filter is a newer, improved version of the older Whirlpool 4396841 filter. 4396710 has better filtering capability compared to 4396841. It filters out Cysts, Turbidity and Asbestos as well.
If you are currently using the 4396841 filter, you may upgrade to 4396710 as long as you do NOT see the words “Fast Fill“ or “PUR Measure“ on your water dispenser. If you do see either of these words on the dispenser, you need to use 4396841 filter to maintain the fast fill flow-rate.
The newer version of Whirlpool 4396710 filter is EDR3RXD1B. The new version has much better filtering capability. See attached transition details.
4396710 can be used as a replacement for the following filters:
Kenmore 46-9030 (or 9030)
Kenmore 46-9020 (or 9020)
Kenmore 46-9920 (or 9920)
Kenmore 46-9083 (or 9083)
Kenmore PUR Ultimate II
Viking P2RFGG2 and RWFFRSXS
